MyViable Introduces Viable Number!

I'm here to explain the FCC Order on 10-digit telephone numbering. All VRS users will receive a 10-digit telephone number which will be part of the universal telephone numbering system. You will be able to place calls to and receive calls from other videophone users without dialing their IP addresses. Also, voice callers will be able to dial your number directly from their landline or cell phones. This is a milestone. Viable offers the Viable Number, which fully complies with the FCC Order. Your Viable Number will allow you to make calls to all videophones and to hearing people and automatically route your calls from hearing people through VRS.

So why should you get a Viable Number? There are many benefits. One, with a Viable Number you will be able to receive VideoMail, which is available only to people with a Viable Number. If you miss a call, the caller can leave you a message for you to watch via email, the Web, or your videophone. These three options guarantee you no more missed calls. Two, with a Viable Number you will have a real telephone number to hand out to people. Gone are the days of giving out your IP address or a proxy telephone number! Also, you will be able to give the same telephone number regardless of whether the other person is deaf or hearing. If you give a hearing person your number, you don't need to give any special instructions or explain relay services. The hearing person would dial your number and automatically ring your videophone through VRS. That's what we mean by direct connection. Now, let's say you want to talk with a deaf person who has a different type of videophone. You don't have to exchange IP addresses; you can go ahead and exchange phone numbers. It doesn't matter what videophone other people use, interoperability is here. Three, with a Viable Number you will have access to 911 emergency response. Should you need to call 911, your local emergency response center will be able to retrieve your registered location information and immediately respond to your emergency. All those three benefits are reasons why you should get your Viable Number today.
