VideoMail’s coming SOON!
I coordinate marketing campaigns and often make phone calls. Usually I get someone’s voice mail and leave a message. If you’re deaf like I am, voice mail isn’t an option and you know what often happens next: They return my call but have no way to leave me a message.
VideoMail is our solution, in beta with Viable employees and over 150+ community testers.
The concept behind VideoMail is simple: People who dial your Viable Phone Number will be able to leave you messages in video and you will be notified by email. You can even edit your notification preferences via MyViable, and receive an email on your computer or pager.
I’ve got a hectic work schedule, so being able to retrieve messages for missed calls with VideoMail ensures I’m as productive as possible. Both my hearing mother and deaf wife tried it – and it worked smoothly. My mother left a message relayed in ASL by a Viable video interpreter, which I watched on my PC. My wife signed her video message and I watched it on my VPAD+.
We’re releasing VideoMail very soon – if you want to receive VideoMail, you’ll need to register for a Viable Phone Number.
