Right now, Viable has more than 1,500 fans on Facebook. They’re the ones who get first gander at event announcements, photos, videos (like this one on all the neat things VideoMail can do for you — hint, hint), and updates.
If you’re not on Facebook, I’d like to leave you with some words of wisdom from Farhad Manjoo, who wrote over on Slate.com some time ago:
There is no longer any good reason to avoid Facebook. The site has crossed a threshold—it is now so widely trafficked that it’s fast becoming a routine aide to social interaction, like e-mail and antiperspirant.
Becoming a Viable fan is easy. If you’re already on Facebook, do a search for “Viable,” and click on “Become a fan.” Done!

We announced four winners of the Ticket to Taipei Sweepstakes yesterday with a live webcast from Viable HQ in Rockville, MD (watch it here). We at Viable send our congratulations to each of them!
Our front desk area was temporarily transformed into a slice of Hollywood with an all-deaf TV crew behind the camera, holding cue cards and directing the lights. Several employees took a moment from their workday to help as John T.C. Yeh and I hammed it up for the camera.
In the meantime, we’re enrolling ourselves in acting classes.
