In ten days, in accordance with an FCC ruling, all TRS providers, including Viable, will not process any calls (except 911 calls) for callers who have not yet registered with a default VRS provider.
Right now, Viable has more than 1,500 fans on Facebook. They’re the ones who get first gander at event announcements, photos, videos (like this one on all the neat things VideoMail can do for you — hint, hint), and updates.
If you’re not on Facebook, I’d like to leave you with some words of wisdom from Farhad Manjoo, who wrote over on Slate.com some time ago:
There is no longer any good reason to avoid Facebook. The site has crossed a threshold—it is now so widely trafficked that it’s fast becoming a routine aide to social interaction, like e-mail and antiperspirant.
Becoming a Viable fan is easy. If you’re already on Facebook, do a search for “Viable,” and click on “Become a fan.” Done!
What happens in Las Vegas doesn’t stay in Las Vegas — why should the fun we had in Sin City stay a secret? Now that the dust has settled and the conference all wrapped up, feast your eyes on a clip Deaf Seniors of America Conference Chairperson Bill Moran made. Psst: he thanks Viable for our sponsorship (1:51 to 3:24)!
We were thrilled to help out — it was our pleasure!
